OOCD1 – Cattle Dock modifications

Ian modified the Cattle Dock kit to fit his available space, requiring a reduction in its width from 93mm to 65mm. As with most Ancorton Models’ kits, this is a fairly straight forward job as the plywood is very easy to cut with a sharp modelling knife.
“I reduced the depth of the model (after sitting and looking at it for a while working out where the best place was) and its gone together very nicely and still looks in proportion.
The plywood is far easier to work with than plastic and I even managed to re-cut the stone loc corner shapes to fit it back together”.
